About

BUILT TO LAST

My grandfather carried the same leather wallet for over thirty years. Though he's no longer with us, that wallet remains — still holding its shape, still holding his story. In a world of disposable goods, I realised that quality is a form of legacy.

That realisation became Anwar Leather.

'I'm Ahmed — someone whose day job demands a level of precision where mistakes aren't an option — and a leather craftsman by calling. The same obsessive precision I bring to my work I bring to my workbench. Every piece is hand-stitched using the saddle stitch method with the finest thread, cut from natural full-grain vegetable-tanned leather, and edge-finished by hand. No shortcuts. No machines doing the work I should be doing."

I operate as a one-man workshop in Birmingham, UK. Every item that leaves my bench has been touched only by my hands.

I name every product "The..." because I mean it to be the last one you'll ever need. Not a wallet — it is your wallet. Not a belt — it is your belt. Use it until it tells your story, then pass it on.

If anything I make ever fails, I'll repair or replace it. That's my word.
